Whether it’s a formal gala or a 5K walk, special events are a great way for community members to join together to help make a difference in the lives of children with autism.

Upcoming events in 2014 include:

  • Heroes for Autism Annual Scholarship Luncheon(March 31, 2014) – Join us in kicking off Autism Awareness Month and our annual giving campaign. Those attending this informative lunch will learn more about the work of Clear Horizons Academy and our vision for the future of education for children with autism. For more information, contact Clear Horizons Academy at 801-437-0490.
  • Clear Horizons Classic Golf Benefit (July 21, 2014) – Don’t miss the chance to golf at Riverside Country Club’s premier course, while supporting the education of children with autism. This great day of golfing includes continental breakfast, a shotgun start and 4-person scramble, lunch and dessert bar, and fabulous prizes. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, or to register for the event, visit www.CHAClassic.org or contact Carol Walker, 801-404-4320.
  • Run13′s Provo City Half Marathon (May 3, 2014) – This Half Marathon is a fast and scenic course which begins at South Fork Park and finishes in downtown Provo. This is definitely the event to get your spring off to the right start and test your endurance after a long winter’s break! The finish line is always a party with music, Magleby’s Fresh breakfast, massages, entertainment and activities for kids, and of course an abundance of prize giveaways. The Half Marathon course is USATF certified and all participants will be chip timed and receive gender specific performance tech shirts. Half Marathon finishers will also be rewarded with custom finisher medals. For every run volunteer referred by Clear Horizons Academy, Run13 will make a donation to the school. For more information or to register, go to www.Run13.com.
  • Chalk the Block (September 11-13, 2014) – “Chalk the Block” is a free three-day chalk art festival where more than 100 artists will spend hours painting and chalking the streets transforming The Shops at the Riverwoods into a captivating, one-of-a-kind experience. Proceeds from this event will support Clear Horizons’ efforts to build brighter futures for children with autism. This will be an experience that you won’t want to miss. Buy A Brick

Give a donation that lasts a lifetime by buying a brick to be placed in the new school’s entry plaza. Engraving a personalized brick is also a meaningful way to ensure that your legacy or the legacy of a loved one lives on forever – viewed and appreciated each day by the children and families it benefits. Help us build a brighter future for these special children for generations to come.

Gala & Auction

The 8th Annual Gala & Auction raised more than $100,000 to support Clear Horizons. Help us make next year’s gala even bigger and better! Volunteer opportunities range from serving on one of our planning committees, to soliciting auction items, to helping with event set-up and decoration. Email or call to learn more about how you can get involved in this year’s gala.
